About Arts North

Arts North started as a Shaw Cable/YouTube arts program that focused on local Prince George BC artists. It has since grown to include podcast interviews with local and national creatives of all kinds to this blog that features news, events, shows, openings, concerts, theatrical shows and more.

Arts North is the brainchild of artist and media personality, Michael Kast.

Michael predominantly works in fine art photographer but includes commercial photographer, acrylic painting, design, theatre, radio, writing, and media publishing.
Michael has had solo and group shows in Toronto, Prince Albert, and Prince George.
Former artist in residence for both The Community Arts Council of Prince George & District and The Omineca Arts Centre.

There is nothing like sharing art. Art, in all it's forms.
