What Can We Look Forward To

With every new year comes the inevitable best and worst of the past year AND what to expect in the following year. I will try to compile a pile of what to expect, crap. Crap you say? Crap indeed. Why?
Every list out there covers every trend known to artkind. Therefore not really telling us anything but the "experts" are covering their asses.
It's the "Yes, but..." syndrome. Where people point out the poor quality of the prediction and the prognosticators say; "Yes, but I got this one correct!" Perhaps, if you were a major league baseball player that bats .250 (that's succeeding 25% of the time folks) you might be worth the drivel that drops from your mouth.

Don't get me started on the players and the wages they receive for failing 70% of the time.

Here then, is my things to look forward to in 2020;
ART
ART
ART and more ART.
Everything art.
Who cares what the trends are?

Just MAKE the art
The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.
Pablo Picasso
Of course, I will be touching on some trends here, throwing ideas out into the art ether. Ideas to help wash away the grime from our souls.

Check out the next podcast segment where I discuss the plagiarism of Jeff Koons and what's new for Arts North.
